Le 14 septembre, dans le cadre de la programmation du FITE projection du film "DAMES DE COULEURS " de Patricia Gérimont et Jean-Claude Taburiaux 

Synopsis :

Sanata et Dicko sont teinturières au Mali.
Sanata produit des bazins colorés à Bamako avec ses coépouses.
Dicko vit en brousse au pays dogon et teint des pagnes à l'indigo.
Ce film est un voyage qui nous emmène du village dogon à la grande ville, du sombre indigo accroché aux murs de banco à l'éclat des tissus multicolores pavoisant les rues bamakoises. Il trace en pointillés les similitudes et les différences entre ces artisanes, tant dans l'exercice de leur art qu'au niveau économique et social.
Si leur savoir-faire est remarquable, il n'en demeure pas moins que toutes deux relèvent sans cesse le même défi : assurer une vie digne à leurs enfants.
