HS_Projets à la Pamintuan Mansion, Philippines / HS_Projets in Pamintuan Mansion, Philippinas

 

Du 9 au 13 septembre dernier, HS_Projets accompagné du musée Bargoin de la Ville de Clermont-Ferrand s'est rendu aux Philippines pour réfléchir à la création d'un futur musée textile.

Soutenu par de nombreux partenaires le projet devrait voir le jour  à Angeles dans l'ancienne maison des Pamintuan.

 

La Pamintuan Mansion est une des plus ancienne maison d'Angeles construite par Don Mariano Pamintuan et Valentina Torres en guise de cadeau de mariage pour le fils unique Florentino. Elle devint ensuite résidence présidentielle, puis quartier général des différents occupants, américains et japonais. Aujourd'hui encore, bâtiment emblématique de la ville, elle sert aux célébrations de l'indépendance du pays.

From 9 to 13 September 2013, HS_Projets and the Bargoin Museum of the City of Clermont-Ferrand went to the Philippines to think about a new textile museum.
Supported by many partners the project should come in Angeles in the former home of Pamintuan.

 

The Pamintuan Mansion is the ancestral house of the Pamintuan clan, built by Don Mariano Pamintuan. Don Mariano Pamintuan and Valentina Torres built the house as a wedding gift for their only son Florentino. During the Philippine-Amercian war, the mansion became the seat of the Philippine republic as well the presidential residence. The mansion served as the site of the celebration of the first anniversary of Philippine independence on 12 June 1899.

Du 27 septembre 2013 au 9 février 2014, la Fondation Boghossian présente à la Villa Empain,

La route Bleue, Périples et beautés de la Méditerranée à la Chine.

 

"Le propos de cette exposition est de suivre les traces de l'ancienne Route de la Soie à travers la couleur bleue qui, depuis de nombreux siècles, inspire artistes, artisans et poètes d'Orient et d'Occident. [...]
 Plus d'une quarantaine de créateurs modernes et contemporains ont également été sollicités pour cette exposition qui sera, par la suite, proposée au public du Musée de Limoges."

En 2006, la Fondation Boghossian a acquis la Villa Empain, joyau de l'architecture Art déco Bruxelloise, dans le but d'y installer un centre d'art et de dialogue entre les cultures d'Orient et d'Occident.

From September 27, 2013 to February 9, 2014, the Boghossian Foundation presents in the Villa Empain the exhibition La route Bleue, Périples et beautés de la Méditerranée à la Chine.

"The purpose of this exhibition is to follow in the footsteps of the ancient Silk Road through the blue color, for many centuries, inspiring artists, artisans and poets of the East and West. [...] Over forty modern and contemporary artists have also been asked for this exhibition which will be subsequently offered to the public from the Museum of Limoges. "

Dames de Couleurs au Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles de Paris - Vendredi 18 octobre 2013 à 18h30

Dans le cadre de la 22ème quinzaine du cinéma francophone, le Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles de Paris projettera le film de Patricia Gérimont et Jean-Charles Taburiaux, Dames de Couleurs; le vendredi 18 octobre à 18h30.

Sanata et Dicko sont teinturières au Mali. Sanata produit des bazins colorés à Bamako. Dicko vit en brousse et teint des pagnes à l’indigo.
Le film nous emmène du village dogon à la grande ville et trace en pointillés la vie quotidienne de ces femmes au savoir-faire remarquable et dont le défi permanent consiste à assurer une vie digne à leurs enfants.

During the 22th French film festival, the Wallonia-Brussels Center in Paris will screen Dames de Couleurs on Friday, October 18 at 18:30.
Sanata and Dicko are dyers in Mali. Sanata produces colored bazins in Bamako. Dicko lives in the bush and cloths dyed with indigo.
The film takes us to the Dogon village to the big city and draw dotted daily lives of these women remarkable expertise and whose ongoing challenge is to ensure a decent life for their children.

« Le tissage Jacquard est l'une des techniques de tissage des plus anciennes et des plus sophistiquées.

Aujourd'hui, l’informatisation couplée à cette technique offre des possibilités illimitées créant des textiles fascinants. Le Jacquard numérique est largement utilisé pour la mode et l'ameublement. Cette exposition présente plus de 60 œuvres de six artistes de renommée internationale : Junichi Arai, Louise Lemieux Bérubé, Philippa Brock, Lia Cook, Wen-Ying Huang, et Liz Williamson. »

Des stylistes vietnamiens défilent à Chambord / Vietnamese designers in Chambord

 

 

 

Dans le cadre de l'année France Vietnam 2013-2014, les stylistes Minh Hanh, Trong Nguyên et Công Khanh présenteront leurs dernières créations lors d'un défilé haute couture au Château de Chambord, le samedi 7 septembre 2013.
