Ueno Masao

Ueno Masao, artiste japonnais, réalise d'exceptionnelles oeuvres 3D en bambou.
Il a, à l'occasion du FITE, produit une oeuvre durant une résidence à la bambouseraie Prafrance d'Anduze.
Cette oeuvre est actuellement exposée au jardin Lecoq à Clermont-Ferrand dans le cadre de l'exposition "Métamorphose" qui a inauguré le festival.

Il expose aussi actuellement  au Bellevue Arts Museum à Washington, dans le cadre de l'exposition "Modern Twist" Contemporary Japanese Bamboo Art". Vous pouvez visiter l'exposition jusqu'au 3 février 2013.

Cette exposition présente le bambou comme une véritable source d'inspiration et de création pour 17 artistes  : Matsumoto Hafū, Honma Hideaki, Ueno Masao, Uematsu Chikuyū,Nagakura Ken’ichi, Tanabe Chikuunsai III, Tanabe Yōta, Tanabe Shōchiku III, Tanioka Shigeo, Tanioka Aiko, Honda Shōryū, Mimura Chikuhō, Nakatomi Hajime, Sugiura Noriyoshi, et Yonezawa Jirō, qui présentent 38 oeuvres.

Ueno Masao, japanese artist, makes very wonderfull pieces in 3D in bamboo. During the FITE, he has realized a worshop at the Bambouseraie, Prafrance, near Anduze, in France. The piece is exposed in the exhibition "Metamorphoses", that has opened the festival.

Aboubakar Fofana

Aboubakar Fofana, artiste plasticien, travaille la teinture à l'indigo.
Il est exposé jusqu'au 31 mars dans l'exposition "Métamorphoses" inaugurée à l'ouverture du FITE.

Vous pouvez également le retrouver chez Isabelle Ducimetière. Les bénéfices des ventes réalisées à l'occasion de cette exposition "Terre d'ombre et ciel divin" seront versés par l'association Calao de France, aux populations maliennes.

Patis Tesoro in San Francisco

Patis Tesoro, créatrice de mode aux Philippines, qui nous a fait le grand honneur d'être présente durant le FITE, poursuit son tour du monde pour faire découvrir la fibre d'ananas, dite "pina".

Patis participe au défilé "Holiday Haute Couture 11", organisé par PIA (Philippine International Aid) et Wells Fargo à San Francisco le 18 novembre.

Patis Tesoro, fashion designer, from the Philippines, who gave us the great honor to be present during the FITE, continues to make discover pineapple fiber, called "pina"all around the word.
