"Dames de couleurs" grand prix du festival Caméras au champ / Dames de couleurs awarded at the the International Documentary Rural Film Festival

Le film Dames de couleurs réalisé par Patricia Gérimont et Jean-Claude Taburiaux en 2012 a reçu le Grand Prix du jury du festival international du film documentaire sur la ruralité Caméra des Champs 2013.
Ce film a été projeté lors de la pemière édition du FITE en présence de la teinturière Sanata Magassa invitée du FITE2012 et 2013 au Viet Nam.
 

 
Synopsis : Sanata et Dicko sont teinturières au Mali. Sanata produit des bazins colorés à Bamako. Dicko vit en brousse au pays dogon et teint des pagnes à l'indigo. Le film nous emmène du village dogon à la grande ville, du sombre indigo accroché aux murs de banco à l'éclat des tissus multicolores pavoisant les rues de Bamako et trace en pointillés la vie quotidienne de ces femmes au savoir-faire remarquable et dont le défi permanent consiste à assurer une vie digne à leurs enfants.
 
 
 
 
 
The movie Dames de couleur  directed by Patricia Gerimont and Jean-Claude Taburiaux in 2012 was awarded at the International Documentary Rural Film Festival Camera Champs 2013.
This film was screened at the first edition of the FITE befor the dyer Sanata Magassa invited in 2012 and 2013.
Synopsis: Sanata and Dicko are dyers in Mali. Sanata produces colored bazins in Bamako. Dicko lives in bush Dogon and dyed loincloths. The film takes us to the Dogon village to the big city, the dark indigo walls of mud clinging to the brilliance of colored fabrics gloating the streets of Bamako.
